How much is it for Derbyshire-Event-Photography to attend and photograph our event?

We do not charge to attend your event.

If you don't charge to attend the event then how do you make your money?

We make our income from selling prints at the actual event and also from our website afterwards. There is no minimum purchase or any obligation for the guest to buy any of the images.

We're confident that the images we create for the guests will be of a high quality and the guests will be eager to buy. In short, if we don't provide a good service and quality images, then we're not going to make any money.

We are having a Charity Event. How can you help us?

Derbyshire-Event-Photography will give your charity fund a percentage of the proceeds from our print sales from the event. Additionally if you're having a raffle, we will give you 3 vouchers that can be used as prizes for a free print on the night. Call us now to discuss your event.

How much are the prints?

The prints that we sell at the event and from the website are £10 each. This is for a 9" x 6" print in a stylish mount. The print price is more expensive when purchased after the event online, the additional charges cover commercial printing prices plus postage and packing when ordering from our partner printing website.

Where are you and what  areas do you cover?

We are based in Ambergate, near Belper, which is on the edge of the Peak District. We will attend events anywhere but most of our work is in the East Midlands including Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Staffordshire.

If you print on-site, are the prints any good?

Derbyshire-Event-Photography produce all of our prints on the latest Mitsubishi Dye-sublimation Printers. These are specially designed for event photography and produce a far superior print to inkjet prints that most  domestic photo printers are based on.

The prints are immediately dry and there is no smudging as there can be with other types of printer. The prints are laminated straight out of the printer to give a water-resistant covering.

There are a number of articles on the internet regarding Dye-Sublimation printers, which detail the advantages of these types of print.

What type of events do you cover?

We will happily cover your event whatever it is. We do specialise in formal evening events including school proms, charity balls, black tie dinners, awards and corporate events.

Do you only do events?

No, we don't just do event photography. We also do family and childrens portraiture, Wedding & Maternity photography.
